Not to say McNeeley was a great fighter or anything, but at the time of the Butterbean fight, and also when he fought Brian Nielsen, he was going through a terrible drug problem. McNeeley was actually living in a crackhouse at that point in time. I thought at the time that was extremely callous matchmaking on the part of Arum and Mogens Palle, who had to have been aware of McNeeleys problems and used him as a "name opponent" of their respective fraud heavyweight stars. McNeeley weighed about 210 pounds for the Butterbean fight and couldnt have beaten Leila Ali
