Yes a former Olympian, he has fought a lot in San Jose. He is a very good in between puncher, but he isn't exactly hard to hit which is never good for a counterpuncher. Still, nice combinations. Wish he would at least try to work behind that early jab sometimes and maybe move this guy backwards instead of letting him come forward. Jiminez just bullied him and fought really dirty, neautralized a lot of that counter punching and made Escobedo pay for always going back.
Now in round 4 he has some nice jabs going. I still wish he would move forward with it more though instead of popping it from the outside and moving.
I think it's a fairly good showing so far for being on TV for the first time since a loss.
