I like how Escobedo ends his combinations, it seems the last punch always lands for him he's making all of his combinations count.
Escobedo does put some good combos together, but it seems like his chin may be a bit suspect, and this guy Favela just walks right into stuff. Would like to see a little better d from Vincente.
No Diane I'm not a Sergio fan now,I'm just lazy. I will remove that though thanks for reminding me.

Favela sort of reminds me of David Diaz....nice squabble ,Escabedo is prone to righthands but comes with some ability
Edit.........That by NO means was a shut out,One judge 80-72..WTF?
So they subbed out Rolando Reyes who was originally who Diaz was set to face. Thanks to whoever did that. After all that it looks like no Francisco Santana. Boo to whoever did that though I've seen Martin before and he's not bad but extremely outsized here.

Favela may have won 1 or 2 rounds max...pretty solid from Escobedo, but wasn't overly impressed. He's a good boxer, but I think he may be in trouble if he fights any of the title holders at lightweight.
Don't most people move up to 6 rounders by their 10th fight? Taking it easy there Martin.
Chula Vista CA. ??.......haaa,no s!!!![]()
Pretty good fight. Very good last round. Still a lot of stuff Escobedo has to work on but he can punch good. It's not his offense he has that will hold him back it's the other stuff. Moves the same way, doesn't move his head a lot and still has problems moving out. Also does have a bit of a chin issue it seems. Good performance though on the rebound. Well it's 2 years so it may not be a rebound but still decent work.
Hope to see some improvement next time out, 18-0 he's going to be expected to step up big soon and he can't carry those flaws that he has to the title level.
