Not to mention Langford is the widely regarded as the most avoided heavyweight of all time yet he campaigned all the way down from lightweight. Simply amazing, wish I could see him fight I've read a lot about him.

Yea same, really wish I could just see any footage of him... To think he beat Joe Gans as a lightweight and fought all those monster HW's like Willis so many times is ridiculous, and yet he kept on fighting and fighting wel into his later years even after he was almost completely blind, and people still didn't want to fight him.

The issue is whilst the record does speak you need to see them fight.

You and I have read sooo much about boxers and then when we see them we're like huh.....

I remember when Orzubek had a little streak going then he beat Gamache and people were prasing Orzubek like something special then I saw him fight and I was like... OK what's the bigg fuzz?

Samething applies for Greb and the rest of those fighters whom I can't see footage on. They are great "so I've read" but how far a long does that do for me if my eyes can't see it?

That's why I've said it time and time again unless I've seen a fighter fight several times I really wont commment and I refuse to rank or rate them. Even fighters like Pep and Loi I've only ever seen about 5, 6 fight and yes they look good but I can't fully comment on them as to see 5 fights on fighter who had over 100 fights is IMO a bit dumb.
