One of the great 130 and below fighters of our generation.

Could of beaten the very best on his day. But anyone that saw that last pacquiao fight saw a man who just didnt have the legs to fight anymore.

He`d still beat quite a few title holders out there right now through his sheer workrate and ability to work the jab which is priceless in the lower divisions.

But against the likes of manny, diaz, guzman, valero etc. Im afraid he`d be found wanting!

I hope he's not coming back because he needs the money.

Me too, there are few things that are as depressing as watching a former great return as but a shadow of himself. It would be quite sad to see EM KO'd or outclassed against a lesser opponent who he would have destroyed in his prime.

Weve seen that already several times in his recent fights

In many peoples eyes Erik moved up to a 4th weight division and beat the WBC champ in his last fight so he isnt totally done

Remember form is temporary but class is permenant and Erik is a boxing legend !!

I hope not too, the worst thing to hear is that one of your favorite legendary boxer needs to fight more due to finiancial issue. If ever eric goes broke though, he should go move to the philippines. They'll make him a star and rich again there.

He's a promoter and has money invested in several businesses in Mexico.
    I don't think it's a money issue.
