As for Teddy and Joe,, from what I have seen, I think they do very good job.. they have a nice chemistry I like to hear announcers that work with each other ( backing the other statements and so forth. makes for a smooth presentation to the listener.
Teddy knows boxing simple as that.. why would Joe or anyone else argue one of Atlas's points ? Teddy speaks from experience.. what you want to do when he speaks is be silent , simply listen and soak up the knowledge that is being offered . Anyway that’s my view.
I wonder if theres any footage on Youtube... Basically, there was more to it than thatOriginally Posted by Ted The Bull

Augustus penalized one point in 8th for spinning himself out of a clinch.
Richards was the only judge who had a pulse that night. Kelley should have been suspended. It was robbery in plain sight as Agustus whipped Burton's ass throughout the fight. What Kelley was doing was preventing Augustus from fighting his kind of unorthadox fight. It was a hometown decision. Atlas called it right. Teddy can be a real ass-h--- in person (not very fan friendly...kind of going Hollywood), but he can break a fight down better than anyone I have ever seen and he is pro-boxer, one of the few announcers who is willing to talk about reform. He gets my props for that, even though he does not respond to my emails. 99% of the boxing personalities I know do, but not Teddy.

Like Ted said it was a bad robbery and Teddy called out the officials after the fight and actually took some action i believe against the michigan boxing commision (at least I think that is where it was held). Anyways, the worst robbery I recall ever seeing. But your right it was also annonced wrong.

Good points on Atlas, I watched him on the finale of FNF and thought he did a very good job. I think was overly critical...he does have off-nights every so often, but who doesnt.
Anyways LG, you got mail![]()

I don't like Atlas.
He's a ridiculously overrated trainer who often embarrasses his fighters, maybe to bring attention to himself and how he is this supposed great motivator.
He also speaks up about the evils of boxing and is so quick to criticize when there's a mismatch, but had no problem putting his own fighter in mismatches on a number of occasions.
