First of all, im British and im a hatton fan and ill admit that i was surprised that hatton won by unamimous decision, it i thought that collazo won by 1 point.

It makes me laugh when people say when hatton fights the 'big boys' of his divison he wont stand a chance, hatton is a big boy himself, thats why hes 41-0-0.

As for the fight itself, ricky hatton was stronger in the opening rounds than he usually is, but 7 pounds of muscle come at a price as hattons workrate was no where near as aggresive as the kostya fight. with this said i think PBF would tear apart ricky at welterweight, i just dont see why ricky stays at light-welter and fights cotto, that would be a great fight. although i think maybe ricky should try 1 more fight at welter weight with an orthodox fighter as he does have problems with southpaws which was backed up last night.
