What's the deal. I mean, are you canadian or american? Canadian schooled in the US?
I'm not clearly following this. If you were once american and had those things, contacts, addresses, why not just keep em that way. Or is it that you are canadian but had an american address and so therefore they assumed you american?
If you get a job there, will there be all sorts of paper work, Visas and so on? Will it cost them any more money?
I wish you good luck. Why not look for a job in Canada? I would think if I am a canadian employer and I have 2 equally qualified people, and one is canadian, the other american. I'm going for my brethren. And especially if the other comes with baggage of say a lot of paper work and associated costs.
Dunno dude. Not fully getting this situation.
I'm Canadian, lived in US for 8 years on work auth. Moved back home when site closed.
No Canadian companies will talk to me. no idea why. lack of opportunity, overqualified.. no idea. The Canadian market is, from what I can tell, much more limited and much more elitist. The real opps are in the US, and people here are like the bastard pigme cousins that think they're something they aren't.
My mba is from a US school because I was living states side when I started it.
So for all these reasons and more I suppose, I've already had more positive feedback in two days from US companies thinking I'm in the US.
you can't just move to the states (or Canada for that matter) because you want to. It doesn't work that way, especially if y'aint off a boat with head lice.
Get it now?![]()

Yea I just was trying to understand. I have a cousin who is going to school across the bridge here from here in the states so wondering why if he is gonna be discriminated against in some way for that.
Don't know much about it but I like to learn. Anyway I do hope something works out for you.

I dunno know if you knew this but I run Canada.
xcept Quebec, don't want it
but the reason you were not getting hired in Canada is cause I think you talk funny and act kind of like a little queer.
