I'm a confessed Floyd hater, but I still think some of those points go too far. Floyd still deserves respect for his skills and his achievements, even though I agree that his legacy suffers from some of the "business-first" matchmaking that defined his career. It's a shame in a way that someone who has that much talent chose not to showcase it by fighting all the best of his generation. I think he probably could have been one of the greatest of all time, instead of just a great.
However, I doubt very seriously we've seen the last of Floyd in the ring. He could still salvage some respect, if he quit mouthing and posturing and made the meaningful fights.
