I'm not a particularly big Calzaghe fan but even I think it's harsh, that despite beating Kessler, Lacy and Hopkins people still feel he's got something to prove in order to 'cement his legacy'
Yes, some of the fights in the interim weren't exactly top drawer but if a Mid 30s Joe can beat Lacy and Kessler then surely a prime Joe would of done the same?
Hopkins is a different matter, but I'm prepared to give Joe the benefit of the doubt. Mainly because I don't think Hopkins would of fought any different and simply because of the condition Hopkins was in.
As a final fight, the RJJ has much more of a ring (and indeed poetry) to it.
Joes nothing left to prove..and I've always said, if you're not happy with it, don't buy the PPV/Tickets. Easy.
