I have found it hard to judge how far Khan can go... he has blinding speed and is starting to show some respectable power - although I doubt he'll ever be a one punch finisher at top level.

Putting aside the natural bias I have for Khan as a British fighter though I think the Gomez fight showed that Khan gets sloppy at times and although he's not 'chinny' he can be hurt when his concentration lapses or he gets drawn into a fight and gets caught. He has heart - the way he fought back after being hurt by Gomez proved that. Sometimes I think he tries to be too macho and gets drawn into a fight when he should be boxing - partly because of the massive expectation that is on him.

Khan will win a world title - with the amount of belts out there that's almost a certainty and for me that no longer tells me the true worth of a fighter.

How will he cope when he's in there with a real beast of a fighter on the top of his game ? At some point not to far into his career Khan will lose on a stoppage and how he comes back from that may well be the true barometer of how good or great a fighter he can be. He has a lot to learn and there are some hard lessons along the way.

I don't think he will ever fight a prime champion while he is with Warren (if he does he will be about 35 most likely) so I don't expect great things from him.

I would like to see him get broken up and beaten, then maybe he can rebuild himself to be a better fighter. He also wont have the pressure of staying undefeated to cope with. He has been so hyped up that people expect him to knock people out everytime, and that just means more shitty opponents that (in theory) should not stand a chance.

I think Amir is the most skilled out of all the world prospects.

But Khan will only go as far as the first 135lb fighter he faced that is ranked and turns up to win. The guy has no chin and ive heard it from stable mates and former sparring partners and Warren knows it thats why he has yet to fight a 135lb fighter.

I think it's fair to question the quality of the oposition so far but in Gomez I think they picked a good oponent to test Khan. Gomez asked some interesting questions of Khan and it should have proved a good learning experience for him. Lets hope Khan learns from the lessons he wa taught by Gomez if he does not then a KO loss will surely follow before too long.

Its all about confidence, if Khan can get through this he could be a force in a few years. He needs to go away for a while and maybe fight on under cards against C class fighters and establish a defence. Defend his Commonwealth and then go for the European title next year and then see where hes at.

I have seen most of his fights and yes I have been giving him some bad press but at this stage of his career he hasn't done too badly......hes only 21 and got loads of time to get it right.....DON'T RUSH him.....it will only ruin him in the end....Hopefully his confidence wont be too affected by all this Lime light and expectation crap.

Job Biscuit (But I still want to see him get beat)!!!!

    eh eh!!!
