A pretty fair appraisal on the whole. Hatton was given a tough, tough fight but at the end of the day he won. It was a fight, that though difficult for a fan to digest is nonetheless, is one of those important fights where a fighter goes through an ordeal and realises the magnitude of the job in hand. I dont know why it was such a difficult fight for Hatton. Was it that Collazo was better than we thought? Was it Collazo's awkward style? Had Hatton been looking ahead to PBF and didnt do the neccessary preparation? No matter what the answer to those questions is, I am convinced the Hatton camp will go away and ask themselves some serious questions. Hatton himself did perform below par. He needs to make adjustments and improvements. More lateral movement, more head movement as he tries to get inside of taller guys with longer reaches. He needs to work on a better defence. He cant just eat every punch these larger men throw.

Hatton will be back and im pretty resolute that we will see a better fighter than the one that nonetheless did mange to scrape through against Collazo....
