Mayweather has done a lot, but he can always do more. A win over Cotto would be very good for his all-time standing.

I don't buy his retirement anyway. If he has hung them up for good, well good for him for getting out of the sport with his health and being set financially for life.

Most fighters aren't so fortunate.

Well as for how permanent his " retirement " is, that's a different story. Would I be content with him retiring at this point? Absolutely. Do I think he's going to stay retired? Probably not. My point still stands though that no one should be giving him shit, and that he's proven enough to where he should be able to do what he wants to do without recieving shit loads of negative criticism for it.
