He gets stopped in my opinion. He has been dropped by decent domestic level super featherweights who have moved up. A legit lightweight world champion would stop him. He needs another year and a half in my opinion. I also do not see him being lightweight for that much longer. He claimed at the weekend that he has dropped his body fat to 1.5%. Too low in my opinion. If he keeps on doing the weights he will have to move up.

I would like to see him fight a decent level European, challenge for the European (Romanov at the mo), a couple of fringe contenders (Katsidis, or someone like that then go for the title after that.
Tip of the month: Protect yourselves at all times. You never know when the scheming bitch will come back for more.

If he actually said that, he's full of garbage. If his bodyfat % was anywhere below 2 we'd be able to see the defenition in his organs. As far as I know the body cannot survive with much less that 3%, and it wouldn't benefit any athletic pursuit to even think about having lower.

I don't see this as being as much of a blowout as some of you. Khan is clearly more skilled than Katsidis, who gave Casamayor a run for his money. I'm not saying Khan would win, but I think he would make it a good fight.

Thats dangerously low no boxer would be able to function that low in body fat they would look ill and wouldn't last 2 seconds in the ring, Khan was talking nonsense thats anorexic.

Yeah I'm inclined to agree.. I think Khan has tremendous ability, he is super fast, has the potential to be a great offensive fighter(technically). But his chin is proving to be basically garbage. It doesn't matter what kind of combinations he's capable of putting together if the first decent looping shot that lands upstairs is going to hurt him.. And if Michael Gomez can land numerous telling blows and hurt Khan on multiple occasions, I just can't see a top lightweight not taking that advantage. Having said all that, I think Khans best shot at being a world champ anytime soon would indeed be to catch Casamayor when he's slipped even further.. But then again people said Gomez had been shot for years, when he was never anything special to begin with. I really wouldn't feel confident picking Khan over just about anyone who can punch for shit.

We ain't going to see that for quite sometime Warren has stated Khan isn't ready and his defense issues need to addressed so we are going to see some more hand picked opponents for at least the next 2 fights.

Its not just his chin, he gets too sloppy defensively at times and gets his chin touched too much as a result. Very skilled offensively, not as much defensively IMO.

If he was going to jump into a fight with one of the elite at 135 Casa is as good a choice as any IMO. He's past his best, way past it IMO, had to go through hell against guys like Santa Cruz and Katsidis, not really a guy who's great at pressuring fighters, and he's got a pretty good punch but not a great one.

THANK YOU... perfectly put. Casa still stops him but he WOULD have to walk through hell with those guys... Juan Diaz also... To much output.

Santa Cruz outworked Casa... He doesn't get enough credit for beating a whily vet.

Casamayor was probably underrated for a long time, a great fighter IMO and a guy that's really never been conclusively beaten (by that I mean he's never taken a beating and all of his decision losses have been close)but he's way past it now IMO. I've been saying that for a long time, since the last Corrales fight and nothing he's done since then has changed my opinion at all.

I do agree with this but the way he was able to walk through fire in the Kats fight impressed me... Not so much impressed me because Casa fought so well... But impressed me cuz he is clearly past his prime and fought the only fight he could have... Fights like that are what they're gonna look like from now on.
