Hatton just showed everybody that he's not quite ready to fight Oscar or PBF. Winning by decison was not impressive, besides the first round knockdown, he barely survived the 12th round.
I think he'll have a chance at Margarito, he's a more likely opponent.

I disagree, id keep him away from Tony, that was one of his main problesm against Collazo, he couldnt have his own way on the inside, and against Tony who is much bigger than Hatton could be a major problem.

Id take a match with Lil Floyd over Tony.

Time will tell really, and tbh Hatton would outwork Gatti like Mickey did
I agree it is to soon to judge Hatton its all the Hatton lovers that want instant gratification again I say whats the hurryI strongly disagree with the Gatti statement..Arturo is a brawler and a warlord for Chrissake!!! He has Satan afraid of him and thats the good news For Ricky!!! The bad news is that Artoro is a better faster more technically sound Boxer than Ricky..
Arturo's only chance to winning is to outbox Hatton, if they get into a brawl......Hatton would murder him
That's crazy talk.....Hatton murdering Gatti? Gatti could and would not only outbox him he would out brawl him...ask the great Mickey Ward....that battle was epic....Hatton is a copy of Gatti and you know what that means....the copy is never as good as the original...and PBF and ODLH would stop Hatton before the final bell....
srry mate, you are talking out of your ass now...
How would gatti out brawl him? Hatton is the bigger man, younger, has the higher workrate and Gatti can't take body punches. Hatton would swarm all over him and tko him.
Sorry, just because he looked good against Mickey Ward....it means he can beat Hatton
If Ward is so good, why in the world has he got 11 losses on his record and the fact that he also never become world champion.
Everyone is praising Gatti, because he beat some european mediocre fighter in Thomas Dammgard....
    Hatton tko 6

Hatton is the bigger man than Gatti? Is that true? (I'm not saying it's not, I just think of Gatti as bigger--could be wrong). Gatti definitely hits a lot harder than Hatton though, which I think would give Ricky big problems at 147 -- he admitted that the relatively light-punching Collazo hurt him a few times. I don't know--I think Hatton/Gatti would actually be a really good fight. I had previously thought that it would be one-sided in Hatton's favor, but now I think it might just be a lot of action and a bunch of knock-downs. May be very fun to watch.

Which is exactly what worries me...Collazo did indeed hurt Hatton...it was really obvious towards the end of the match that Hatton was fwocked.
Never beg a 40 dollar hooker...specially after she's just turned down your mom's credit card!!

There would be a lot of knock downs but I dont think it Would be Arturo tasting the canvas though!!! I dont think Ricky hits hard enough at 147 to give Gatti much trouble Arturo is a complete animal and would drag Ricky through Hell and back,Arturo is more technically sound and is better at putting combos together
