forget about the november date, i figured manny can fight any of the above i mentioned sometime in december, that would give whoever that is 3 months from his last fight. then the other 2 winners slug it out, the winner of which manny will face sometime between march and june of 2009. if pac comes on top of those fights then and only then should he consider going up another weight division to face hatton or whoever is top dog there by that time (though i hope it's still the hitman). that would be the ideal scenario for me.

I think Manny don't have to wait for the outcome of this September Lightweight tournament. If Hatton is not available then PAC can settle with Valero or whoever is available.
the problem is that there's word that honda doesn't want valero to face pacman at this time cos he feels valero's not ready, and what i don't like about valero is that he hasn't really been tested by a noteworthy opponent and hasn't even fought at 135lbs. pacs camp might be looking at julio diaz as a keep busy fight.

Valero just a high risk low reward fight and he offers less to the PACMAN.
Exactly! And that doesn't necessarily make Pac afraid of Valero. Reason why I don't agree that Mayweather had nightmares about Margarito or Cotto. I guess people do accept other fighters taking those decisions until the right money is there unless its Mayweather, that's when its totally unacceptable.

Hope Valero gets some exposure out there and see how he does with more top opposition.

I pick Valero for the entertainment value. I want to see pac fight Nate or Casa (if he beats JMM) afterwards to solidify his place at lightweight first before Hatton. In terms of risk-reward from Pac's perspective it's probably Hatton would be first choice as he wouldn't be expected to win yet he's be known as superman if he went up in weight succesfully again.
