Well done Kelly Pavlik im glad he is staying at Middleweight and taking care of business at his own weight class before he moves up, its for certain the right match up no question in my mind, Kessler and Calzaghe can wait.

Long way aways but if both are still undefeated than WOOWWW the first big fight in 2009. Would love it to be in Cleveland.

I like Arthur he has the supeior trainning and his Defense is better, both are SOILD punchers. WOW what a matchup.
It is good that both fighters are staying at their weight class. Clean up your class ala Hagler then go outside.

I think Pavlik will win but I say that with no great conviction. I want Pavlik to win he's one of my favourite fighters. Both fighters are pretty slow and not very agile. I think Pavlik has to show alot of patience in this figh,t as if he just try's marching Abraham down he's in for a shock. Mid Miranda was patient and still got caught.
This could be a case of who connects flush 1st and Abraham has the better defense and probably the better chin.
Intriguing fight and I'd pay to watch this fight.

I have seen a lot of Abrahams and this talk about him being defencive is misguided at best. He fought maybe twice like that he works on a gameplan clearly in camp to suit each opponent and always comes up trumps.
I think Abrahams is a far better technical fighter than the straight foward Pavlik so im going the king by hard fought DEC.
No Abraham has been defensive in more than 2 fights, and he just seems to stop fighting for an entire round then just opens up with a barrage of punches near the end of the round then goes back on the defensive. Im not saying its a bad thing but it is against someone like Pavlik who is very good at putting fighters on the back foot, because he gets very good leverage into his shots. Theres no way Abraham will be able to go on the defensive against Pavlik he will be forced to fight.
I have to agree as well 9th rd max. Abrahams great guard could be his downfall or falldown. He looks like a punching bag out there. A great opportunity for Kelly to jab guard dig body
I say Pavlik by stoppage. In between rounds 5-9. Depends on how many clean shots he catches Abraham with. I see Pavlik really laying into the body draining Abrham and letting those arms hang lower and capping him off. He will go into a shell and get his ribs busted up. I see Pavlik throwing between 70-90 a round and Abrham throwing between 30-60. Pavlik has the faster straiter more powerful jab. And that is it. He can really hurt guys with a strait jab. He is like a middle weight version of Foreman.
He will not be fighting the same way as he did against Edison. KING will beat Kelly, plus where the fight will be will also be a factor.
Stoppage by Kelly.
Not necessarily a KO, Abraham is solid, but his jaw may give out or Kelly's relentless ressure will force him out imo.

Cracking fight. hard to pick a winner, both guys are tough with good dig. I'll probably change my mind but am leaning towards Abraham at the moment, his guard will be tough to penetrate, and while Pavlik hits hard, I think it's the consistency in his power that's been so succesful rather than one punch power for which Abraham may have a slight edge.
