Honestly Froch would be easy money for Joe as he will be for Kessler, Taylor or Bute.

What better way to leave 168lbs after 11yrs of dominance beating a great young hungry 39-0 champion like Kessler?

I do want Calzaghe fight Pavlik though.
Calzaghe should of fought Froch instead of Manfredo but its too late for Froch now, Calzaghe has bigger fish to fry and Froch doesn't bring that much to the table.

problem with froch is that he has blossomed a year or two to late to be fighting calzaghe.

Had he of been a world contender at 26/27 the fight would eventually of happened.

What carl has gotta be wary of now though is getting beat by someone. That`ll take 3-4 years to come back from and at 31 froch just doesnt have the time to be avenging losses.
What the hell has Froch done in the last 2 yrs to 'blossom' into a world contender? he's fought absolutley no one. In terms of the WBC, he's some how got up the rankings and it wasn't his fault the last guy bottled out so I suppose he deserves a shot at the title, but the guy who says Calzaghe is ducking him is smoking crack.

As for Taylor, I'd be seriously dissapointed if he opted to fight Lacy rather than Froch. Froch may be unproven, but Lacy HAS proven that he IS finished over the last 18 months, I seriously doubt he'd make a significant more money fighting Lacy so his reasons so far sound pretty lame, it's up to him and his camp to make up an offer to get Froch over to the US. If his camp can't produce a better offer than Froch's people, it should be prety obvious to Taylor where he actually stands in terms of pulling power at the moment, and he needs to get busy in the ring to turn that around, he doesn't hold all the cards anymore.

Hennessy tried to make the Froch fight prior to him opting for Evans Ashira.

He also tried before the magee fight was made and then Calzaghe opted to fight Veit for a second time instead of Magee.

Froch then offered to fly over, save the show and fight magee who turned him down.

If Froch aint fought nobody, it certainly ain't for want of trying.

But that's professional sports... it's all about the $$$$ .

Step forward Roy Jones... (here Roy, hold my arm, i know your legs arn't that steady anymore, there ya go fella, now let me get that rope for you - in you go - now, remember, wait for Joe to throw the double left jab and then counter him straight over with the right hand and step to his left and throw the uppercut.... what? ... oh sorry Roy, you didn't get that? ...here, put your hearing aid in... there you go brother)

Taylor definently needs a warmup before trying to give Frosh his 1st L. Lacy would be a good measuring stick for Taylor, not only to see where his confidence is but also to see how he moves and throws making new weight.

There is a very large gap in skill between Taylor and Froch IMO. Be glad if the Froch fight doesn't happen for you Froch fans.

That being said, I think Taylor will def. beat Lacy.......but I think right now it is going to be hard to look really good against Lacy....all things considered. So I would prefer the Froch fight.

Calzaghe is a Southpaw so how the hell does Calzaghe throw a double left jab ??

I think JT boxes his way to a UD.

Froch to me has embeded in his head that he's gonna spark everyone out.
I think he's gonna come into the fight with that in mind and he's gonna try hard for the KO.

Thing is JTs still a really good boxer as he showed vs. Pav the 2nd time around. I think Froch will be lost all night if JT can stay focused and use his skills (which clearly if you know both guys you know JTs that much more skilled then Froch) he will box his way to a UD.

I believe that is a fair assessment CUTMEMICK. Too many people act as tho Froch has earned this shot and has shown himself to be a world beater when in reality he hasnt even faced a top 30 fighter. Dont get me wrong he may prove everyone wrong and be a great champ.
From what i've seen tho i dont believe he'll beat Taylor and in fact i dont think he even deserves a title shot yet. He makes excuses that nobody will fight him but i bet a lot of money he could have got fights with the likes of Soliman if he'd really tried. Sam may not be the best fighter in the world but he'd be ten times better than anyone Froch has faced.

Why? Lacy might be shot. But even a shot Lacy is still better than Fraud.

I don't like Froch personally, but in fairness Lacy has proven himself to be a spent force, the least Taylor could do is try and prove the same for Froch.

Taylor should fight Froch and expose him.

WBC have extended the deadline to facilitate this fight.

No reason that it shouldn't happen.

No Way! We dogged Joe C and he went out and beat Lacy, we dogged him and he went out and whipped Kessler, we dogged him and he beats Hopkins. Joe C has done plenty. He doesn't need to prove himself anymore to anyone.
It feels good to be back home.

How come Lucian Bute is always laying low, you never hear about anyone wanting to fight him, or him calling anyone out? He needs to be in this convo.

BTW Joe didnt vacate the WBO sm title, he may come back if there is nothing good at lt heavy. I am really liking Joe and the moves he is making now he is away from Warren. Maybe it was all Warren's doing as far as the selection of fighters with the puppet strings. Seems like he is really going for it now. Good for Joe, better late than never.
