Jorge Linares seems to be very under the radar and should receive more exposure.

In terms of being on the wrong end of decisions I would go with Glen Johnson. If we are talking about unlucky in terms of getting big fights, I would say all those Cuban boxers that never got their opportunity to turn pro. What a different history boxing would have if Cuba was included.

Unless they defect, ala Casamayor and Gamboa.

Did that clown Yanqui Diaz defect? Or is he just Cuban by nationality, but an American citizen?

They are not allowed, the only Cubans who turn professional are those who are illegals and seek immunity after (Escaping), such a shame those guys would have really lifted pro boxing, would love to have seen Savon taking on the heavyweights, he KO'd Shannon Briggs and David Tua among others in the amateurs which didn't happen at all with Tua in the pros and not Shannon was pretty tough too.

True.. his fans also very unlucky.. He was at the top of his game,,, a hugely respected and liked fighter,,,,, and it would be great if we could still be throwing around his name in the WW division stakes...

Casamayor. He feels he was robbed vs Castillo . Chico and Freitas . Yeah he was lucky vs Cruz but he is still owed a couple of favours .
