I'm sick also at the moment, so this is scary.
I know the feeling its as if the hands and fingers have died in the night.
I had both arms from the elbows down each morning as I awoke (they woke me actually) for a couple of months. I think I figured it was either low blood pressure or not enough liquids as I was waking with a dry mouth. I had leg cramps back then too. So bananas, water with a pinch of sea salt, iron food, followed immediatley by an orange juice. I also dropped an asprin to see if blood thining helped.
    Something did ,its gone.

I drink big volumes of water during the day and always bring a pint and a half with me to bed.
Yet I always wake with a dry mouth.
So dry in fact, when I left bed this morning I gave my girlfriend a kiss, my lips were rock hard and my throat like a dry cement mixer.

I've heard of water with a pinch of sea salt before.
Reputed to be a fantastic way of replenishing electrolytes after training.
