No, I would much rather see Hatton against the winner of Baldomir-Gatti in late July. Hatton has expressed interest in meeting the winner of Corrales-Castillo 3, and that sounds good too. Castillo is really not a lightweight anymore anyway, and could fight as a welterweight quite easily. Corrales is tall enough to move up to welterweight although his chin may be too weak at the higher weight. If Hatton moves down to 140 lbs. again, either Corrales or Castillo would be an excellent opponent at that weight.

I'm afraid that Hatton simply doesn't have the boxing skills to deal with Mayweather. Hatton-Mayweather would look a little like Hatton-Collazo except that Mayweather would do a better job everywhere in the ring. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Mayweather expresses no interest in such a fight.
