While I totally agree with everyone that Vargas has no business in a boxing ring at the moment let alone in the ring with Mikkel Kessler I think some are being a bit too harsh on Vargas

With all due respect to him he was a hell of a warrior and he always went out swinging....He was better then let on but thrown to the wolves by his handlers early and was put into too many big fights before he was ready...He did well in them even the ones he lost.....

The back injury is what really did Vargas in.....He just could not reciover enough to be a shade of his old self and added with the already abused body the guy had the whole deck stacked against him.....
