power is the last thing to go with a fighter... Jones has more accuaracey and more snap on his punches than Nard, Fact!!!! Not to mention his handspeed is still remarkable...
How can you argue who has a more accuracy? Hopkins of late has foughten way better defensive fighters than Roy since Roy last got KO'ed... Also Hopkins lands more telling blows, and he gets hit by less punches than Jones.

Also Roy's power is gone, not because it isn't potentially there, but because Roy has tried to maintain his speed, he doesn't follow through on his punches anymore. Watch how short he throws his right hands against Trinidad.

Also Roy JOnes Jr losing to Calzaghe would not make him a bum in any shape or form. This is the #2(# 3 in my books) p4p fighter. Joe hasn't foughten the same level of competition as long as Roy, nor has he gone up the heavyweight and come back down, nor has he had two devastating knock outs. All these adds up to Roy being a lot further down the beaten path then JOe is.

I dont buy it man, but your certainly entitled to your opinion

Hopkins has the most enemic punch count in boxing today and no fukin way does he have more power than Jones

he never used to have more power than Roy, but he certainly does now. Roy doesn't hit hard at all anymore, but Hopkins still has respectable power, he hurt Calzaghe a few times(and not Calzaghe was never hurt by Kessler realistically), He hurt Tarver, he, Bernard, didn't hit Winky really hard, but he had to throw shorter punches just to land on Ronald. Where has Roy shown power? Beside a punch to the temple which Trinidad acted like he got hit in the temple, and a jab that caught Trinidad off balance where did Roy show a significant amount of power?

What Fucked Jones was moving up to Heavy, developing muscle and having to lose it Neurophysicaly thats hard. To me it looked about5 kilo now thats no easy thing to move, neurons dont like the Hassle of change over a short period they get the Hump and dont respond ignorant little Fuckers. But they might be listening again.

This is exactly what I've been trying to say. I believe his questionable chin came from him draining himself in this way but I think his body has re-established itself as a LHs body again and his power will mark my words be back for this fight. He has said for a long time himself now that he will not hurt anybody unless he has to. Well he may just have to hurt Joe. That said to say he's hitting so gently just recently according to certain people on this thread, Ajamu would probably disagree with you as he spent over 2 weeks in hospital after their fight with internal bleeding from the "soft" body shots Jones was bombarding him with!

Jones went in to his shell every time Trinidad attacked which wasnt often and bearing in mind Trinidad was a welter

Jones might as well take a german bunker and place against the ropes, that is the only way I see him lasting the distance.

Jones is too slow to engage or run away, he has no upper body movement, just a high guard he hides behind.

At this point in time Calzaghe holds all the aces, at one point it would have been on even terms but Jones is trying to fool his fans, I dont think hes fooling himself because he didnt try fighting in his last fight with Tarver.

Jones knew that cuz he was much bigger than Tito that everytime he thrwew punches he just had to stand there with his hands up high cuz he knew Tito couldnt get round his defence. He saw that vs Winky and thought theres no need to punch with Tito .

Jones got his flair back in that fight , you could see the way he was showboating that he felt in total control, but the look he had on his face in the 3rd Tarver fight is the same look I expect to see in this fight - One that says he knows he isnt doing enough to win and is struggling to keep up the pace.

What the Tito performance did tell us is that give Jones the room to box and he will but even if he does land cleanly he wont ever try and finish the job so I dont see how he beats Joe in this fight .
