Well Wlad shouldn't have that trouble with the likes of Tony Thompson...just like in all his other fights, win or lose, Wlad is responsible for the outcome

I think you're underestimating Thompson a bit Lyle. He doesn't have one weapon that really makes you go wow, but he is about as solid of a guy as there is in the heavyweight division. Can fight inside too which could make the ref a big factor. I know Wlad is the best in the division but the likes of Tony Thompson, he's a guy who's been around forever, has a great trainer in Barry Hunter, he's going to be game that's for sure and I really doubt he's scared of Wlad like every other opponent of his bar Peter has been the past few years.

...no doubt Tony is a hell of a fighter but he is somewhat unknown at this high of a level, Luan Krasniqi has 14 KOs, Guinn has 19 KO's, Timor Ibragimov has 13 KO's ......Wladimir has 44 KO's!!!

Tony has great heart and has good stamina and so far he has a great chin but then again who was going to really catch him like Wlad will

Tony still makes mistakes but he hasn't had to pay for them....Wlad will make him pay

Well he has fucked up jis last 3 big fights i doubt he will do anything in this fight it will probably take a fighter bring shot to stop the fight.

This joker has another big fight? thats like me going to work messing up then getting a pay rise!

However the fight is in Germany and seen as Cortez was in Mayweathers pocket team Klitchko proably told him anything goes in Germany outside LV its the corruption capital of boxing!

I hope the State take a tougher stance on this clown and refuse to use him otherwise it would be yet another blow for the credability of American boxing.

If he does make him pay, he'll have to do it with the right hand, which at the very least is a victory for the fans.

Don't sleep on the left hook, Wlad's is the best in the division but he rarely uses it for a KO punch.....but when he does it's goodnight sweetheart and vs a Southpaw I would guess he would be more apt to use it

I don't know Thompson stays at a distance a lot, Wlad doesn't like to throw it from too far out. When he did against Austin, Austin was cowering on the ropes and was there to be taken. Against Thompson I think the opportunities will come more in the form of the right hand. Wlad does hook off the jab well though so maybe that's a possibility if Thompson tries to slip the jab and close distance. But if he wants the KO my guess is it is going to be from the right hand. I also think he needs that punch to win, don't think the left hand alone will win him this.

Wlad dropped Austin because Ray circled into the ropes....Tony has done that before and did that vs Luan Krasniqi a number of times. I'm just saying Wlad has power in both hands and if he's not comfortable throwing the cross he can land the hook. If Tony stumbles into the ropes he's not going to be let out.....at least not standing
