The Republicans and Democrats practice similar politics....but according to voting records Barack Obama is the one towing the Party line AND apparently he feels he must come to the center to win a general election.....if he really was a "transcednent" candidate he would just stick to what he said in the primaries.
What difference does it make that something is in the Huffington post? You can't find a single inaccuracy in the article. Instead of complaining about the source read the article.

McCain is talking about effectively scrapping social security. If you can explain what he says another way then go ahead. And McCain is a flip flopper. He's the first candiate in history to be stumping against two bills that have his name on them (torture and immigration. )

What Jesse Jackson says even on-mike is irrelevant. McCain made a series of very newsworthy gaffes and blunders over the past few days yet the only thing the media are covering is something Jesse Jackson said and how it affects Obama. No the wonder America is going down the tubes.
The only media in the world worse than the Korean media is the American media. And the American media is hands down the worst.

America is going down the chute and really a Democrat government is the only way to go. After all there is no alternative in that so called rich land of democracy.

Im playing on words there but I am quite serious.
Actually I'm hoping that McCain wins. If Obama wins he'll have to make painful economic choices and all thw while the GOP will be screaming "cut taxes", despite the fact that that's one of the main reasons for the current economic problems, and it'll mean the next election the GOP will be able to win by offering tax cuts which just makes the long term situation much worse. Better that McCain wins and carrys on current policies until the inevitable meltdown, then maybe we'll eventually get sensible economic policies in America, something the whole world needs to happen.

Same with Iraq. Right now the media is claiming that "the surge is working", so when Obama starts pulling troops out and the violence goes up he'll be castigated. The common wisdom will be "we were winning, we should have just kept fighting, but the liberal surrendered," instead of we already lost.

So Obama stands to be the new Jimmy Carter, dealing with inflation, high oil/interest rates, crappy economy, etc. Much better if McCain wins and inevitably screws things up so badlly that America finally has to get realistic and has the population in a mood to do so.
