I am an ex-pat now living in Atlanta GA. I will be attending the upcoming Calzaghe/Jones fight at MSG.
My question is regarding tickets.
Where in your opinion is the best place to purchase a ticket early?

Id imagine MSG themselves would be a good place to start.
one dangerous horrible bloke
Stub hub or any ticket broker. I would call the MSG box office.
Come on Preme there is no need to be a dick about things.
Anyways, tickets have not gone on sale yet and the quick bit of searching I did didn't reveal when they would.
But I do know that most tickets are sold from 60 days of the event onwards, that's at least been my experience buying through Ticketmaster. Right now they don't even have a listing for an event. But my advice would be to check regularly on the Ticketmaster website until a listing is posted and then suscribe to their email service where they email you with dates of when tickets do go on sale.
To be on the safe side of things, you can call the New York area Ticketmaster.

That's the number. Hope that helps.
I'm afraid this answer is not massively helpful but when I went to MSG for Cotto v Mosley I got tickets pre-release through some code I inputted into the ticketmaster website. I can't for the life of me remember where I got the code from but I think it was probably some forum. If I can remember and there is one for the Calzaghe fight I will post it on here (after I've got my tickets)
A group of us from the UK got our tickets from TicketLiquidator.com all ready locked up for this match. I've done a lot of research on them and everything came up positive.
There you go my man:
Ticketnetonline | Sticky & Sweet Tour Tickets | Las Vegas Shows | Sports Events | Broadway - Joe Calzaghe Vs. Roy Jones Jr.
Always use these, but be careful nothing is signed yet.
