Well if you watched just the 11th round, you might be fooled into thinking it was an exciting fight. I'm glad Thompson went out on his shield. I wonder if in the first round he hurt his leg? Something didn't seem right all throughout the fight. Oh well, the best American heavyweight falls lol

Klitschko's lack of any sort of inside or even midrange game is begging to be exposed. Anyone who can match footspeed with him and can work between that long range of Klitschko is going to have a real good shot at beating him imo.

Thompson fought very well...he did what he did to Krasniqi but it just didn't work with Wlad to that extent.


I rate Thompson very highly after that performance! I think he can beat pretty much anyone else out there....I think Arreola should look at fighting him to test himself.


Wladimir had to dig deep and learned some new stuff it was good that he got those rounds in those might be the best rounds of FIGHTING he has actually done, going to the body using the left hook, and the uppercut.


Wlad will probably fight again in like December or something...I think that time would be good to try and fight Chagaev...also a southpaw but smaller than Thompson but more durable than Ibragamov

David Haye has nothing Wlad hasn't seen....handspeed, power, etc.

Haye doesn't have defense, Haye doesn't have heavyweight experience, Haye is chinnier than Wladimir because say what you will but Wlad was KO'd by HEAVYWEIGHTS, Haye was KO'd by Carl Thompson.


Those right crosses that Thompson was eating aren't something Haye can easily handle and the addition of the uppercut won't help Haye out at all

I can guarantee the Hayemaker will knock this boring, embarasing pawing cunt out cold. Haye is fresher, fitter has a better chin (Coz he ain't been down 10 times and when he got KO'd it was early in his career when he was inexperienced) and has better power. He is younger and has ambition, once Slaphammer feels Haye's power he will go down and the UK will have a NEW undisputed heavyweight champion.

Chagaev has an achiles tear, complete tear. No way he's geared up to fight before December no matter what the doctors say. If he does it definietly doesn't need to be against Klitschko, someone he can test that out on. Maybe Timor Ibragimov. Just because the world wants another Timor Ibragimov fight.

Povetkin-Klitschko is a good fight. Chances are Povetkin will just get slaughtered on the outside but at this point, I just want Klitschko tested inside. Povetkin also has a way higher workrate then Sultan or Chagaev and I think Wlad will respond to that as he seems to fight mostly at his opponents pace.

I think Thompson blew it by letting off the body attack.....wlad looks susceptible there.I think wlad can TKO Yet to debut Haye ,keep him over reaching and use size on him.

I highly doubt Povetkin's chances vs Wladimir....Eddie Chambers swole his eye up and a spent Chris Byrd took his punches for the majority of the fight.

Povetkin-Arreola should be made....either of them going to fight Wlad right now is just WRONG for the division.


A fight vs Valuev would be lovely BUT Nicolay doesn't fight real heavyweights.


Tony Thompson has a lot to be proud of after that fight...he stood in with the best and did a good job
