That's way to hard to tell right now, impossible in fact. For one, neither fighter's career is over for certain. I am still holding out hope that Cotto-Mayweather will happen if Cotto continues winning into next year especially if he beats De La Hoya. I would be genuinely surprised if it didn't if Cotto beat Margarito and De La Hoya.
But even so, no telling what if anything Pacquiao can do at lightweight. Say he goes out early next year and loses to Hatton? Then what?
It's impossible to tell. In terms of skills, Floyd is one of the best we've ever seen imo. That's something that is going to carry him above all others in this generation when it is all said and done.
That's my opinion but like I said it is waaaaaaayyy to early to be talking about where they will be ranked when it's all said and done.
