I'll enjoy watching Mayorga get smashed by a fighter from a league above him..................again.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Mosley is a far superior fighter.

His speed, movement, technique, expiereince, power, even his chin...all far better than Mayorga's.

Usually I'll mention the punchers chance, but againstthe Iron jaw of Mosely I'll discount even that vague hope.
Mosley dismantles Mayorga, but perhaps over a longer period than say Oscar.

    Hold on!!!!

If we look at bothe these fighters when they were on top of their game, Mayorga proved to have the better chin by taking the best Forrest had to offer and giving him free shots.

He also proved he had the bigger power by knocking Forrest out

Even at this stage of their careers I say Mayorga is too much of an animal for Shane to live with.

Yeah Mayorga has cashed in on a couple of fights against De La Hoya and Trinidad but I see him doing much better against Mosely

No one can complain about Mayorga fighting a name, he brings a good scrap with him.

Him and In Jin Chi are a couple of the only fighters that I find exciting, wading in with punches taking everything thrown at em

    Style's make fights.

From the amateur days it was established that Forrest's style was ideal for defeating Mosley. That in addition to Shane's rush from Lightweight to the more marketable weights meant his loss was pretty convincing.
Since those days Shane has matured and doesn't rely on his power as much.

You almost support my point here with your advocation of Oscar's win over Mayorga.

Couldn't I also argue the point that Shane bettered Oscar Twice and therefore will beat Mayorga?
Or that Shane stopped Vargas twice when mayorga was drawn into a rugged brawl with the fatman?

Mayorga is entertaining, but he's C level.

Isaid when thye were both on top of their game.

Mayorga when he was good took Forrests shots and kod him.

Mosely when he was good couldnt!!

Mayorga dont give a shiit particularly about winning anymore but I do think he beats Mosely.

If Trinidad had fought Mayorga at light middle he would have got beat, Mayorga was hurting him but ran out of steam in the first or second round, he didnt train as hard as he could or should have.

If this fight is light middle, I see Mayorga being quicker than he has for a while and Mosely slower

Shane was at his best at 135

Mayorga struggles to make 154 and looked well past it against Vargas

It'll be like most Mayorga fights. Wild and entertaining, until mayorga finally gets picked apart by a superior technical boxer.

    all to true

Mosley will just let mayorga blow himself out before picking him off and stopping him in the middle rounds.

Only real chance ricardo has of winning the fight is getting in shanes face big time in the press run and hoping mosley fights with his heart and not his head!!

    wwwwwhat?

if mayorga did not let trinidad almost behead him with 2 left hooks in the first the fight it might have lasted a little longer.

it didnt matter what weight they fought at trinidad scared mayorga with his power.

and if trinidad was not feeling him out so much in the first he would have not got off so many punches and wore him self out as quick

rain snow or shine, trinidad would pound mayorda any day of the week

Ive always had a soft spot for Mayorga and hope he can perform well or even spring a surprise. But the smart money is on Mosley.

I want Mayorga to win too.
