Tonight's alternative (WNF thread)

What a horrible night...the toney fight, the undercards for wnf's were garbage and then such a tragedy in the main event. Hard for me to ever complain about boxers asking for riddiculous amounts of money, cause in these extremly physical sports you just never know. These guys try so hard to satisfy us the fans............it's just sad. Even i get hyped up in anticipation of the violence at times, no one is to blame it's just plain sad to see i guess is the point.

Feel kind of silly arguing outcome of Toney vs. Rahman at he very sametime Oscar Diaz was in the fight of his life....I hate this shit sometimes.

Any updates? I really hope he comes through this strong,Thoughts are with Family!!

I feel bad for delvin as well...what a horrible thing to have happen, must be hard to not feel guilty or responsible, even though you aren't in any way. You'd think they'd have more info on oscar by now...

It's interesting because I am always wanting to see fighters get beaten silly; just for my entertainment. Then something like this happens and I think to myself: why is it exactly I want to see another person beaten so badly just so I can be happy

Guys like Cintron and Fields I am always hoping to get beaten to within an inch of their life, but then I consider how sick it is to wish that on someone I don't even know and who hasn't done any harm to me or mine.

These guys{and girls} deserve to be paid handsomely for what they do. They know the risks when involved in this combat sport, but it is tragic to see those risks become realitiy like last night. Bad sh#t.
