Don't think Cotto has Cintron's power; but he can get that body well. Only problem is that if he tries consistently to fight Tony on the inside he will be susceptible to some big punishment from Tony, IMO. I see Cotto playing it smart and boxing all night on the outside; no way he gets into Tony's type fight.

Either Tony wins by ko or Cotto will decisively beat him on points; hoping on the former.
I think Cotto will be fine on the inside. Cotto has much faster hands and feet (though he doesn't use his footspeed much) then Margarito and I think he can afford to go inside with Margarito and beat Margarito to the punch with shorter, faster punches. I would be worried about Margarito's uppercut on the inside since that is his best punch and Cotto has eaten uppercuts in the past.

Damn it I can not wait for this.

I think Marg is by far the biggest fighter Cotto has ever faced he is also the biggest puncher and best inside fighter Cotto has fought. He also has a chin of iron and a will to land shots no matter how many he takes, now that is a scarey fighter and you dont want to fight the beast at his own game. Marg is huge and i can see Cottos shots bouncing off now i cant say the same if Marg started landing on Cotto.

You dont fight to a guys strength esp when you can box as well as Cotto i mean he outboxed Mosley.

Margs only hope is on the inside imo i think Cotto will try and remove that chance.
OK, Margarito isn't the Terminator. If you are conceding that Cotto can land first on the inside, there is no way he is just going to let shots bounce off him. He's a human being, they are going to have an effect.

Margarito's best punch might be his overhand right, a punch that lands from the outside. If Margarito is the one pressing forward, then I agree it's probably not a good idea to stand inside. But if Cotto can press forward or they trade toe to toe, it's not a bad idea at all to go inside where is the faster puncher by a lot. Also, it'll be difficult for Cotto to get any body work done outside which I think is key for this fight.

I agree with Amat and have said this for a while, I don't think Cotto has to or should box and move all night, Cotto does a good job of mixing it up, pressing, fighting on the inside, and boxing and moving. I think he should stick to that.

Margs best chance is to draw Cotto in he cannot outbox Cotto.

Marg game is in fighting so you box him.
