Mendoza had some good looking uppercuts but I thought Lacy did edge it. Definitely was nervous though and I can understand a draw or even a close Mendoza win.

I hope Lacy doesn't fight Taylor. I don't think he can fight for 10 rounds anymore.

Lacy is starting to slur

And there is nothing overrated about Lacy especially now. He's a good fighter with a good punch, not a good defense but he is a battler and always comes back. I thought the decision was just. 2 scorecards were a round off mine, there were some close rounds, I can't complain about any of them. I wouldn't have complained about 96-94 Mendoza either.

LOL, at least he admitted it. If this was the fight to show that Lacy was back, it failed miserably. Since the Calzaghe fight Lacy has done nothing but struggle.

Is Lacy still making weight comfortably? He might be able to help his stamina if he moves up..

I wonder if Taylor-Lacy still happens? Don't know who I would like to see Lacy fight at this moment to tell the truth. I hope he's not to stubborn and knows what to improve on. If he is going to continue on, resurrect the jab, and maybe move to 175? He hasn't fought at a brisk, consistent pace in a long time and you saw he had bursts of great speed even right up to the end but also a lot of lulling along, maybe it's time to let the ship sail on 168? He's a huge muscle bound guy, he got hurt tonight like he's never been hurt in his career, even by a jab on one occasion. You have to wonder how much is that due to weight.
