Arguello was a truly great fighter - but if you want to see how tough Aaron Pryor was, look at the right hand he takes in the 13th round (second last round) of that fight. That right hand would have KO'd just about any other guy who ever lived yet Pryor shrugged it off and came out and stopped Arguello in the next round.
Toughest, most relentless guy I ever saw was Aaron Pryor.
But let's not forget that Hatton isn't even 30 yet - he still has time to improve and put on career defining performances. But it's my fear that Hatton's best years may already be behind him - and he spent too much of those toiling against sub par opponents.
While I agree with most everyone that Pryor would beat Hatton, probably stop him, I can't agree with Pryor knocking out Chavez. I think Chavez could hold his own against Aaron Pryor if not beat his ass.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
