Accidental cut nah Lewis cut him with a right hand . It was clearly shown in replay . Lewis beat him fairly and there cant be any disputing that. Vitali acted with little class at the end . Far from a dignity in defeat he was a sore loser . Didnt deserve a rematch . Yeah he put up a decent effort but if a champ wnats to retire why cant he

It was accidental and not. If I recall correctly that cut was the result of an unintentional thumb to the eye. Not exactly legal, but it came from the glove.

Watch the fight again and between rounds pay close attention to the replay . Lewis cut Vitali with a legitimate punch . There were no headbutts or elbows etc . Lewis did all the damage failry with his fists and Vitali could not continue . He literally ripped Vitali apart but if it wasnt for the cuts I think Lewis would have knocked him spark out in the 7th
