Lol! He battered the hell out of me for three lopsided rounds, but he's nothing special.

Gary must not hold himslef in a high regard obviously .

I can see where Enzo is coming from though when he says Hopkins has different plans. Pav looked pretty straight forward vs Taylor the 2nd time and Joe who has a brilliant boxing brain and workrate barely got past Hop. I think Nard may steal the fight with Pav by a bout a round or two just on experience.
I cannot see it. I see his only ticket to winning is by knockout early or cutting Pavlik up, which he can do. If he does not, Pavlik will get into the fight, throw his usual million punches and simply outwork him. How much Pavlik lands will not matter. If you got a guy that is 4X as busy and who fights full three minute rounds, it will be hard to out point him.
Joe throws alot more punches than Pav . He even landed over 100 more on Hopkins according to the stats yet still alot of people thought Hopkins won

Not much more, especially when it comes to meaningful punches. The reason Hopkins kept it close, was because Joe gave him a lot of respect early and Hopkins got some rounds and that knockdown in. After the 6th round, I mean Hopkins was not doing much of anything. An occasional punch and lots of posing.

Joe throws alot of quick fire punches, whereas Kelly doesnt, so if anyone was gonna land more punches on Hopkins between Joe and Kelly it would be Joe.

Joes punch output was well down on his usual because of how Hopkins spoils, 100 punches through a whole fight isnt that much really, I dont think, Pavlik is gonna struggle to keep Hopkins at the distance he needs to offload and stay on top in the punch stats.

I think Hopkins Pavlik will be a closer fight than Hopkins Calzaaghe

I sure dont. I dont see Hopkins able to put Pavlik on his ass. I dont see Hopkins hurting Pavlik at all. I also dont see Pavlik leading with his head exposed trying to land a flurry and getting caught.

Though I see Pavlik winning by UD; I don't see Hopkins, being the vet that he is, sitting around on the ropes waiting to get off one right hand to Pav's 30. He'll use the ring and hold Kelly when need be. We all know B-Hop has a good chin, but I doubt even he wants to see if he can take all of what Kelly will dish out if given 1/2 a chance.

Calzaghes output was 70% of what it was against Kessler.

The reason that people thought that Bernard won was because he landed the more telling harder shots. Joes shots were again with the inside of his glove like a slap and therefore had no chance of KOing Hopkins. I personally thought that Joe JUST won the fight but I see Pavlik stopping Hopkins. Then again you can bet your life that Bernard studies what Taylor was doing in the first fight with Pavlik before he got KO'd because it looked for all the world like Taylor was going to do a number on him.

I think Hopkins will beat Pavlik. I just seem him probably nullyfying him. I could be wrong tho.

Don't get me wrong, Pavlik is tough, has power and heart. But i think Hopkins has enough left to be able to figure him out....unless he gets hurt a few times.

Maybe arm punches and slaps. Pavlik throws about 80 - 110 a round. Real punches from all different angles.

Pavliks punches dont come from angles he does what he does very well but he has no footwork and because of that will struggle to find a solution to Hopkins holding.

You dont need awesome footwork when you are pushing a guy back. You want to plant your feet and swing.
