Ricardo Lopez no question he is the most skillful Mexican fighter who ever lived and with 51-0-1 record and an undefeated amateur record who can argue with that ?

I'll admit I don't actually know enough about him to be honest. I know that he only had one blemish on his record and that was avenged in his next fight. I will though do a bit of studying and get hold of some of his fights and so on.

Theres quite a few of Ricardo Lopez's fights on youtube you should start there but as for Salvador Sanchez no doubt he was very skillful and a good counter puncher but he often got caught with more punches than he should have because he let his warrior like spirit sometimes take over as do many Mexican fighters where as Ricardo Lopez was always pure masterful technician with 1 punch KO power Miguel Canto is also up there he is like the Mexican version of Willie Pep.

The warrior like spirit is what I love about Mexican boxers. I know that Miguel Canto was a very different type Mexican fighter too. He has been described as a Mexican Willie Pep. He though did not have 1 punch KO power and I think he only KO'd 15 in about 70 fights.

    Too hard to call!
First thought was sanchez, but cos of his shortened career it is always debatable as to how he would have gone had he fought for longer.
Chavez was great but he fought too many bums at the start of his career and fought on too long at the end. Prime, mid career Chavez has claims.
Ricardo Lopez'z record and skill speaks for itself, but cos he fought at such a small weight he is not as well known and may not have had the lvel of competition of the other 2.

I'll go Sanchez, but could easily have voted for Chavez or Lopez.
