Now i think a rematch with paul would not be good for paul. if only tony didn't start out so slow he would of finish paul.

So did I. You gotta respect both men. That was the best fight that could be made and it was a classic. I actually think if they rematched Cotto would figure out a way to win. I'd love a rematch.

I missed the fight. But I can't wait for the replay. Good on Margarito for winning. I said it would be a battle of wills and it was. And Margarito just has an unbreakable will and Cotto has an unbelievable heart(just from reading wackos report)

I'm literally speachless. That was one of the best fights I have ever seen. My god, all the credit in the world to Margarito. Wow, was 10x time more then I expected. Had literally everything, WOW. All credit to Vazquez-Marquez, but for me, that was FOTY. Fight of the decade maybe. Wow wow wow wow. Oh my goodness.

Well I had Cotto winning up to that round. But Congrats to Tony, he fought a good fight.

I know Cotto will come back from this, I have no doubt about that, it was only 1 loss, so I am not disappointed in him at all. He dominated in all the punching categories, but I just wish he would have stayed away from the ropes, that is where he kept getting caught.

It was a great fight, and that's all I could hope for.

A cracking fight! First off props to Margarito. The guy is relentless. Cotto was getting caught on those ropes more and more and was finding it more difficult to get away. Cotto was boxing superbly prior to that and he was winning the fight after the 10th, but Magarito would just keep on coming and was getting busier and busier.

Cotto just couldnt hurt Margarito and it was Cotto's will that was beaten. A good day for boxing and Margarito, but you can't help but feel bad for Cotto. They are both great fighters.

Epic stuff this evening....an absolutely amazing fight, and Cotto's bloody visage at the end shows that Margarito was the justified winner. What would have knocked out anyone else in the division doesn't even break the skin of Margarito.

Cotto threw as many big punches in that one as in any other fight he's been involved in, but I'm maintaining my belief Margarito was cyborg-like in his resilience this evening.

Anyhow, time to catch a few z's before I get ready for work in around 100 minutes. Joy. Ever so slightly worth staying up for though!

You want to try and aportion some blame to Joe Cortez as well. He wouldn't have let Margarito hit Cotto like that

He couldn't get to the body, when you watch it again, you'll see that Margarito kept his arm there all night, making it difficult for him to hit to the body.
