thats fair enough then , i just hadnt seen your name on here before today thats all

i doubt it .. i didnt predict cotto would win but that it would be a real struggle and always felt this could be the one were he meets his match, and that appeared to be the case

i just personally dont think its right to say he was owned, after what was an epic fight imo and both of them gave their all and unforunatley the result didnt go the way i wanted it to but it wont be the first prediction iv got wrong and no doubt no the last either

Ya I dont get on to post as much as I'd like due to lack of time, but when this was signed I jumped on and made my case.

Saying someone got owned is all objective, whats your opinion on it? I mean regardless of the beginning, middle, or end of the fight at the end Cotto was beat into submission, and while he was still trading and his corner is the one who threw in the towel. You have to admmit that after the 9th round he was already a beat fighter. I keep thinking of him going back to his corner after the tenth waiting for his stool he looked like...well he looked like Pauli Maglinaggi. He was destroyed bro, and to me thats getting owned.

from about the 8th round in ill admit i saw the end coming but hoped i was wrong, id class being owned as taking a lacy/calzaghe type beating were the fighter on the recieving end is completly dominated,

cotto got caught with alot flush towards the end of the fight and of course thats what caused him to end up the way he did, i think he did several things wrong, sitting on the ropes, no bodywork and bouncing on his toes too much (surely the worst thing to do if your staminas not brilliant) and maybe at the end of the day margarito just has his number,

Regardless It was a brilliant fight on both sides, Cotto was working him badly. But, like I stated months ago it just didnt phase him, when Cotto hit him with a uppercut in the 2nd and Margo smiled at him I knew it was gonna be tough but that he would get the KO.

You say this isn't towards the Cotto fans who have been gracious, which is fine, because I've given my props to Tony, and have been nothing but respectful towards him.

But this thread, and all your posts within in it, only shows that you are an ungracious winner. You are condemning them, and yet you are behaving exactly like what you are condemning.

Maybe that's why you are getting negative rep?

    Just a thought.

thats very true, and perhaps I would help my case if I would actually quote what those few were saying. But I totally agree with what you are saying.

It was such an amazing fight that I can't take anything away from either fighter. Cotto did indeed look ugly at the end of the fight but who could have guessed that Margarito could walk through all of those punches?

Mate! its not what you say, its how you say it.
Regulars in here dont care so much about what you say generally; unless you really debase them with "Im better than you because I picked it and you didnt" style crap. Which is the intent that underlies your above posts.
Everyone has been right in their history of predictions and everyone has been wrong at some time.
You will find that here at Saddos the most resepected new arrivals are the ones who dont jump up and down trying to make a dent for themselves at someone elses expence.
    Be careful.

I was surprised to see Cotto walking backwards from one side all the way to the other in different ocassions. It was clear he was hurt and simply had to run away from danger.
