I would like to watch a rematch between Margarito and Paul. I think that Margarito can win this one, knowing that after loosing the first half of the fight he could adjust in the late rounds, but it was just that too late. The result could be different if the fight was at 15 rounds.
The best fight for Margarito's bank account would be De La Hoya, but I really feel disappointed when I read that De La Hoya is searching for fighting smaller guys like Manny. I would suggest him to fight the winner of Calderon and Cazares. I remember De La Hoya indicating sometime ago (I believe last year) that he wanted to retire with a big fight either at England or Mexico. Well, this is his opportunity to fight at "La Plaza de Toros" with Margarito who should be sending him to definite retirement. Actually, I believe Cotto can beat De La Hoya, which may be a good choice for Cotto's come back.
Puerto Rico, Small Island, Big Champions!!!
DLH must be looking for small guys with big names. That's why the names of Hatton and Pacquiao have come up. And yeah... (ha-ha)... it's only a matter of time before he calls out Calderon. If the Golden Boy really wants to cement his legacy, he should pick on someone his own size, like Margarito. But then again, Oscar doesn't want to leave boxing with a major league ass-kicking.
It seems that the next battle for Margarito is against Steroid allegations.
