I wouldn't class myself as a Margarito fan, but I do follow his career and root for him in many fights.

I greatly admire his work in the gym.
See i am Antonio Margarito fan like i said in my first post i've been following him since 2000...............

But i wouldn't say im really fan of his style although he has an exciting style he can be quite wreckless at times but im a fan of his determination/heart/workrate/ stuff like that.
Thats completly understandable with Tony, his menatality is all that one could ever ask for from a boxer.
You could take Tony and throw him in a 15 rounder in the 1920's or all the way back to the Coliseum in the BC, he would have put on an entertaining and competitive display.

I do believe it was his loss to String bean southpaw Rodney Toney in 96'.Toney actually had some talent as a southpaw boxing fool from what I remember....Have no score sheet on it though.

His very next fight made the brutal impact on me....."Hey,You have to watch this guy" Lol.They aired him Vs.big hyped up prospect Alfred Ankamah (Who himself had blasted out Toney ) on HSE and Tony just decapitated him in the 4th.I checked my old yellow score sheets, yuk, and wrote down " Ankamah gets stomped by huge banger"......not terribly insightful but I believe it was a one explosive shot .Hooked ever since.
