Why are people now quite negative towards Cotto???

I was never that impressed with Cotto. I always thought him to be the lesser version of PBF in almost every aspects excepts perhaps the power and the weight. Against, Margarito, he just lost his heart.

Lost his heart? Are you on drugs? Now Cintron lost his heart, he gets hit hard ONCE and goes down....Cotto got hit big in every round and tried to trade with Margarito.....11 rounds with Margarito is tough stuff, Cotto has plenty of heart!

I have to say, stylistically,experience, etc. that the outcome was so forseeable....speaking for myself.

BUT....Anyone dogging Cotto is way off here.The man fought his grapefruits off with solid skills and merits true respect.There was talk of him sitting out the remainder of the year and I think that would be unfortuante.Take some time,re gear and go into 09' fresh on a 'W'.(Forget Tony Rematch Imo )All the apoligist's need to go sit in the corner and realize that the best of the best throughout history have been Beat up or Beat down but it's how they rebound that is the true story!
