Why didnt Cotto go to the body??

If somebody is carrying their hands low you need to throw combinations up top which brings their hands up then slip underneath with a hook, and Cotto is amazing at doing this, however, he kept his combinations only to the head, and because he allowed Margarito to back him to the ropes so easily he wasn't able to slip the overhand right like he usually does and coutners with that left hook to the liver.

Taeth heed your own boxing knowledge, for Christ's sake Cotto made no in fight adjustments with the exception of those of retreat and survival. Obviously, Margaritos punches took the offensive mind set out of Cotto.

That's what I thought I was saying. Cotto wasn't throwing enough combinations which would have lead to a body assault, this wasn't because he woke up thinking he was RJJ or Mayweather and he could pot shot all night, but because Margarito broke his will.
