This is the first thread I see where not so much crap is thrown to ODLH.
Anyways, its interesting how when a figher looses as bad as Cotto people just don’t see them as great as before. If we go back a few weeks ago we can see threads about how Cotto was the biggest thing out there, the most feared, the greatest ever, etc. And after last weekend people finally start to admit he can loose against X, Y, and Z, and even mention his weaknesses which I sometimes felt it was forbidden to mention.
Good point Taeth.I've always felt ODLH would beat Cotto because he is bigger,faster, and far more durable with a similar level of skills. Cotto might have had a chance with that deadly body arsenal, but besides that Oscar has the better, longer jab, he didn't get to show how hard he lands that left hook against Forbes and Mayweather because their style specifically blocks that punch, however his left hooks that landed against Mayorga were harder then any punch I've seen Cotto ever land. I love Cotto, but this fight also would be all wrong for him because Oscar is a very similar fighter to him, but twice as big(not actually, but close).

We've seen Oscar get touched to the body and what does he say about it? "No me gusta!"
As for Tony, that dude would overwhelm Oscar at this point in time....it would be like Bowe-Holyfield III

ODLH went down ONE TIME with a body punch and people seem to make a big deal out of it saying in every single fight that just one single punch to the body will have ODLH leaving in stretchers after the fight. Cotto CAN box as well which as Hopkins showed was difficult for him to handle. I think Cotto is what people wanted Vargas to be like....he's a brawler that can box and loves to punish his opponents.
Margarito will wear Oscar down, he doesn't have the legs he used to...he wouldn't be able to stay on the bike and WIN.

I think he gets beat by both fighters in this stage of his career. He's not the same Oscar anymore and it showed in his last outing. I wouldn't mind seeing either fight at all though.

No way On Margarito right now,I don't see it.He is in his prime stride right now mentally & physically and Delahoya would be famished at 147,and just not what he once was.Too much Tony right here!

Think people are crazy if they think Oscar fighting at the weight 147. He is going to invite Margrito up to the weight limit 154 and Tony while go for it because 10 million would almost make him do it. Then it turns into the Mayogra fight with Tony going down because at that weight Margrito wont be the terminator. Look if Santos can rock Tony then Oscar i think can knock him out if he lets him keep landing big shots just a thought because no one brought that up yet like it will not happen.

Tony would force DLH to fight a war...there would be no boxing involved...After looking at the way the much much smaller and light hitting Forbes marked DLH up Margarito would swell him shut.....
The 2000 version of DLH I would have picked but at 147 today...Margarito makes him an example on why fighters should know when enough is enough

ok margarito beat cotto with his power but lets remmeber people oscar is a boxer pucher his speed and power are greater then cotto it would be a tougher night for margarito then oscar i see it almost a walk in the park for oscar people say oscars washed up because pbf beat him pbf beat him by one point and lets also take notice to the fact that everyone pbf beats they say is washed up oscar is older but he can fight with the best we saw him do it

I don't think so. The Oscar of now is completely done. Oscar has avoided Margarito for some time now, so we know he's scared, as scared as he was of Trinidad in that fight. As for Cotto, they would have to fight at 147 and we saw what Oscar looked like physically at that weight. I pick Cotto and Margarito to win, especially at 147.

yea that's funny, Oscar outboxed Trinidad and made him look a fool for 9 rounds straight, Trinidad and his dad ran from the idea of a rematch as if it were the swine flu, but yea Margarito and Cotto would beat the DLH of now, but DLH in his prime at 147 would have owned and completely schooled both of them
