I say you're full of it!

We've seen Oscar get touched to the body and what does he say about it? "No me gusta!"

As for Tony, that dude would overwhelm Oscar at this point in time....it would be like Bowe-Holyfield III

ODLH went down ONE TIME with a body punch and people seem to make a big deal out of it saying in every single fight that just one single punch to the body will have ODLH leaving in stretchers after the fight. Happened once, that was it. Can it happen again? Sure! But, come on.
Yeah, I can see Margarito overwhelming ODLH but then again, those styles have favored ODLH compared to guys that box more.

Cotto CAN box as well which as Hopkins showed was difficult for him to handle. I think Cotto is what people wanted Vargas to be like....he's a brawler that can box and loves to punish his opponents.

Margarito will wear Oscar down, he doesn't have the legs he used to...he wouldn't be able to stay on the bike and WIN.

I think he gets beat by both fighters in this stage of his career. He's not the same Oscar anymore and it showed in his last outing. I wouldn't mind seeing either fight at all though.

No way On Margarito right now,I don't see it.He is in his prime stride right now mentally & physically and Delahoya would be famished at 147,and just not what he once was.Too much Tony right here!

Think people are crazy if they think Oscar fighting at the weight 147. He is going to invite Margrito up to the weight limit 154 and Tony while go for it because 10 million would almost make him do it. Then it turns into the Mayogra fight with Tony going down because at that weight Margrito wont be the terminator. Look if Santos can rock Tony then Oscar i think can knock him out if he lets him keep landing big shots just a thought because no one brought that up yet like it will not happen.

Tony would force DLH to fight a war...there would be no boxing involved...After looking at the way the much much smaller and light hitting Forbes marked DLH up Margarito would swell him shut.....

The 2000 version of DLH I would have picked but at 147 today...Margarito makes him an example on why fighters should know when enough is enough

I see boxers give ODLH a bigger challenge than brawler straight-forward guys.

I love Cotto, but this fight also would be all wrong for him because Oscar is a very similar fighter to him, but twice as big(not actually, but close).

The Margarito fight would be closer, simply because Oscar wears down late in fights, but if he fought a similar fight as he employed against Mayorga I think he could go 12 strong rounds, and I don't see Margarito being able to wear Oscar down in 12 rounds. Oscar is very fast, and can land that left hook to devastating effect. If you watch Margarito against both Cotto and Cintron not to take anything away from his chin, but by putting his opponents on their back foot he really stops them from throwing their hardest punches because nobody throws as hard going backwards. However Oscar has that wonderful jab would be able to create a little distance because I saw when Cotto came forward behind his jab that Margarito was letting him a little bit, and while Cotto just backs up after throwing a combination I think Oscar would keep this fighting the middle of the ring because he has the strength, durability, and skillset to do that. Margarito was a sparing partner of Oscar's which a fighter usually only keeps if a fighter is good enough to push them, but not good enough to beat the shit out of them(except Ali).

Anyways I could see Oscar being WW champion if he really wanted to persue with the intensity he persued Mayorga or Mayweather with.

I agree. Oscar just can't fight opponents that are faster than him. That was always his weakness. He beat stronger fighters like Vargas, Mayorga, Quartey, etc. It's the faster guys that he has problems with like Shane, Floyd, and Manny.

Oscar bragged that he wanted the winner of Cotto-Margarito as his final fight but when he saw Margarito kick Cottos ass so bad he took to the hills. He wanted no part of Margarito then now or ever
