I'd like him back against Margarito or Williams or even Cotto still

I don't know....we all saw when Cotto had his legs under him that Toni was easily outboxed and lord knows PBF can stay on the bicycle for 80 rounds if he needed to.
Easily outboxed or not, did it do anything to Tony? Mayweather is a more complete boxer compared to Margarito so I can visualize Cotto loosing once again. Not sure if Mayweather can have Cotto's face covered in blood and with his mouth open after the 6th round but I can see him winning with ease.
I think DE LA HOYA should be scared of Toni because there's no freaking way he can hurt him when Cotto and Cintron hit him with the kitchen sink and nothing happened....ODH is in deep shit if he fights Toni.
Same thing people said about Tony and look what happened to Cotto. If ODLH and Mayweather both beat Cotto, this place will be quite bitter. Just look what happened after Cotto lost. Let's see if Cotto can accomplish half of what Mayweather and ODLH have ending up in the resume they both have.
Floyd shouldn't try to fight Cotto either he showed how versitile he was in there with Toni
Nope, with last fight it keeps showing how Cotto easily gets cut, rocked, knocked down, etc. If people keep saying that all it takes for ODLH to go down is one punch to the body and it only happened ONCE then I guess we can say that Cotto gets drained after round 6 of his fights.
...it's amazing but Cotto's stock went up IMO even with the loss...he showed his boxing skill, stamina, and chin
Not for me. It keeps showing how he has a questionable chin/jaw, easily gets cut, gets rocked in every fight, etc. I like his punching power and style, how he works the body in some fights (couldn't vs Tony), jab, etc. But sometimes I wonder if he's a bit overrated. His resume doesn't impress me as much as Mayweather's, ODLH, and other's out there.
And yeah I said stamina because NOBODY could have kept moving and punching like Cotto
Paul Williams did as well as Joshua Clottey and when they went back home people still recognized their faces.
    OumaFan,
Exactly, he'll bore the crowd and get booed but I can see him prance his way to victory against Cotto and Margarito. I would love to see them or whoever not only beat Mayweather but to KO/TKO him but I find it hard for these guys to accomplish. We can't really mention a clear flaw in Mayweather so far, can we?
I think Mayweather would still beat Cotto, but it would be a much more competitive fight.
    Taeth,
Yeah. I can see Mayweather beating Cotto but not as he would against Margarito. Cotto is faster than Margarito but he's no speedy gonzalez.
Stop acting like Mayweather is made out of glass he has foughten a number of respectable punchers Corrales, Castillox2, Ndou, Gatti, Dela Hoya, Judah and none of them were able to dent him.
Exactly. As if Cotto's and Margarito's resume is as great as Mayweather's and ODLH's.
but these threads about Mayweather getting battered by Tony are ludicrous.
    Ono,
Everyday you'll see threads about how terrible ODLH is and how Mayweather is no good.
Mayweather likes to get on his bike and fight in reverse. He actually enjoys it, whereas Cotto doesn't or at least didn't look comfortable.
I saw Cotto fighting on reverse most of the fight against Tony. Sometimes he would even back pedal from one corner all the way to the other with his arms down.
