I only really count 1 loss on Antonio Margarito's record and thats too Paul Williams the loss to Daniel Santos was a gift decision for Daniel Santos and Antonio Margarito deserved the nod.........

And the others were when he was a teenager fighting men i think Antonio Margarito seriously got overlooked by fans because they see those multiple losses but didn't know the real facts regarding those losses.....

And also Antonio Margarito is still slow just because he beat Miguel Cotto doesn't change the fact he still has flaws like throwing his punches too wide plus he has mediocre handspeed and slow footwork.........

Im not saying he isn't effective at what he does because he is very effective but those flaws that i mentioned above are still there and they haven't changed just because Antonio Margarito defeated Miguel Cotto.....

But Antonio Margarito does have an incredible chin/heart/workrate and sometimes determination and alot of heart can overcome skill as we see against Miguel Cotto.
I give Margarito all the credit in the world for beating Cotto like that. But the above poster is right, Margarito needs to avenge his loss to Williams if he is to be regarded as the best WW. I think Williams stock has fallen since his loss to Quintana which the rematch hasnt quite erased. But its between Williams and Margarito as to who is the best. And so far Williams is the one with the W over Margarito.
