Hoya wants to retire with a KO win in his last fight?

I think ODLH should fight Yutaka Niida.

Oscar said it's personal... He felt betrayed by PAC in the past when PAC signed with GBP first then switched to Top Rank.
Pac is safe and wont hurt him.

I'm rooting for PAC to win over Hoya. So I'm hoping that what you said is the mindset of Hoya. I hope Hoya is totally underestimating PAC's capabilities.

So if it's not same day weigh in, PAC rehydrates to what 145? Meanwhile ODLH rehydrates to 165? That's gonna be a massive size mismatch there.

De la Hoya is cleary fighting Pac for the reason that Pac is the biggest name out of opponents Oscar thinks would cause him the least damage. If Cotto had destroyed Margo, Oscar would go back to his I can't fight a Puerto Pican becasue my wife is Puerto Rican.

Default Can Pacquiao's knives slice up Hoya's face?

In David Diaz interview after his Pacquiao fight, David said that he thought Pacquiao has knives in his gloves and thought that he was fighting Freddy Krueger...

It's the general perception of boxing people that Pacquiao can't KO Hoya but can Pacquiao's knives slice up Hoya's face that will lead to a TKO or decision win for PAC?

Here's some photos of Pacquiao's recent opponents.

    David Diaz (June 28, 2008 )

    Juan Manuel Marquez (March 15, 2008 )

Marco Antonio Barrera (October 6, 2007)

Look at what Oscar fists did to the face of Wifredo Rivera, Fernando Vargas, Arturo Gatti and think what will happen to Pac's face

And they were also bigger fighters than Pac. Pac is a little guy, compared to Oscar. And he will get destroyed.

Oscar said it's personal... He felt betrayed by PAC in the past when PAC signed with GBP first then switched to Top Rank.
This may be the following reasons why saddo.
    1. Pac is an easier win for hoya.If hoya beats him he may be criticized for beating a guy coming up all the way from 106pnds. up to 147. That's 10 divisions south: quite shameful eh? But hey, pac is #1 p4p, beats him and you can brag: i beat the #1 p4p in the world etc., etc...
    2. Roach insulted hoya by publicly saying hoya is old and faded, based on his training with him he said hoya is not the same hoya anymore.
    3. Pac turned down hoya's golden boy to arum's top rank. He almost took that 100k$$$ but in the last minute, because of some technicalities of contract, was obliged to sign arum's toprank. Personally that's quite embarassing for hoya. So this fight might come down also for personal vendetta of hoya against pac for turning him down and making him a fool in front of everyone, and roach for the disrespectful comments he dished out in public.
    4. Hoya doesn't want to fight mexicans or mexican-americans for his last farewell fight.
    5. Hoya might do this for his fellow mexicans who lost on paper against pac, like mab(2x), jmm, and larios. All under goldenboy or was under goldenboy.(Since i heard mab is trying to make his own promotional outfit and planning to cut his ties with hoya.)
Sorry i thought i posted a wrong thread. Jeez...
