    That's based on my understanding I may very well be wrong. There was a fight on ESPN2 recently where one guy dominated the whole fight complete shutout, but at the final bell he got knocked down, he was definately winning the round by a mile until that happened, but I gave his opponent the round 10-8 as did the judges.

    Well...the 10 point must system doesn't work if both boxer get a point deducted in the same rnd...
    Penalties are the exception. If there are no penalties then the winner of the round must have 10 points.

    I would score it 10-9 in favour of the fighter who scored the knock down but got the crap kicked out of him.

    Knock downs aren't scored in the amatures so you can still win the round if you are scoring better.

    That reminds me, it was never resolved whether or not judges always mark the round with a 10 (as in the 10 point must system) with the point deduction (when they happen) taken after the fight
