my questions would be about trainers, work out routines etc not how much a middle weight earns!
in england i beleive there is a minimum payment for each scheduled round. its something like £100 a round, so your would get in the region of £500 a fight. As a journeyman very few can make a living and other than the very top end everyone has other jobs.
Even guys who are around the english title level have full time jobs, and many a boxer with a good record has quit because the money isnt there.
i know that Amir Khan's current oppenents get around £5000 but thats a real exception to the norm. If a rookie boxer without olympic pedigree made that in a year then id be surprised.
Added to that if you are tied to promoters or managers standard rate for those combined is over 50% then you got tax etc...
If your looking for a career then boxing isnt it... try hard at school instead.
looking for an awesome sport then go to the gym and you'll find out soon enough that its far easier to watch on tv and claim 'i could do that'
