I don't know, I find it to be a bit of a letdown, its just a bunch of spastic slap boxing, a bunch of Derrick Gainers jacked up on Red Bull.

    For the most part.

I have found one guy I like. Toureano Johnson of Jamaica. He actually fights like a fighter. Stunning. He will probably get beat by somebody who runs around the ring a lot but I think he could be a pretty good pro.

Pissed of at myself, after spending so much time watching this, wondering if I was ever gonna see an American again I miss the first three and a half rounds of Demetrius Andrade's fight this afternoon.

Has that Molina kid already fought?

And BTW its tough enough to beat the Cubans as it is, the judges don't have to help them out. That Eglesias kid was pretty good but his opponent landed like four or five clean rights in the fourth round and was given 1 point for the whole bout, it was LOL.

Andrade looked a bit sluggish, I thought. Wanted to show off, but didnt really succeed too well. At least he came to fight though.

Molina lost 14-1 yesterday. Not sure if that is the worst ever Olympic campaign for an American boxer (i.e. losing 14-1 in the first round), but if this doesnt secure Molina a place in future trivia-questions someone surely has been way sub-standard.

The Olympic reffing has been complete bullshit, if one person wants to tie up its impossible for the other guy to find any rhythym thats what happened to Andrade who likes to throw those combinations, but that Georgia guy was tying him up everytime he threw a punch.

Well there goes our best medal shot, it's all up to Andrade now, honestly I hope he shakes his nerves, cause he didn't look like a contender in his opener, gotta feel bad for Warren, he got the toughest draw possible for the round of 32.

There was a terrible mess-up by Warren/his corner.. he was only one point down throughout the the last round yet amazingly spent the last 45-60 seconds keeping out of range, throwing no punches

He clearly thought he was in front.

    I'm not sure.

When they took of his gloves he appeared disconsolate and he threw the glove from him in annoyance.

*It is possible they told him he was in front in order to prevent him boxing wildly in the last round and then instructed him to box cobservatively, only to see him defend the lead, before revealing that he had lost!!!

should he have gotten more points then he was given?

The Olympic scoring is a joke honestly and i wouldn't be surprised if he should have won the fight.

Both Warren AND his opponent were shafted on clean punches landed, all in all it's hard to say who got screwed more. Bottom line Warren can't blame anyone except himself for getting on his bike, whether or not he thought he was ahead, it was close.
